---This has to be one of the worst films that I have ever seen. Yes...it even rivals my own. As I said before the year was 1902. They must have had this script lying around. It may have been written by a pre-teen. The idea of making a sci-fi, fantasy type film came to someone's mind. What really makes it strange to me is that I have a feeling that they were somewhat serious in making the film. I recommend it. It lasts 12 minutes. It will undoubtably be a new source of measurement for you.

A lot of people used to ask, who is Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks? Bobby Darling and I saw Dan Hicks and John, his guitar player, at Symphony Hall in Boston. He didn't have the ''Lickettes,'' that night. It was NOT Dans best performance, by far, but Bobby and I were big fans of his. The above clip is from the Flip Wilson Show.

Another Quick BDS Note - Bobby liked the instrumentation of Dan Hicks + His Hot Licks, particularly, the girl singers and the violin. Over the years, Bobby has had females in his band. Now...if he could only find someone, ACCOMPLISHED, on the fiddle.

---I was thinking back a bit, to the time we had a violin...and Bobby would PRACTICE. This was before The ''Original'' Duo, was up and running. I would play guitar while Bobby played violin. Mostly blues rifts. All I CAN SAY ABOUT THAT is...there is a very good reason why we NEVER did this on stage.

Tom Lehrer was known as a satirist. He was a Harvard mathematician who was famous during 50's and 60's. He was not someone you would see regularly on TV...though he made a few appearances. My landlady owned one of his records, so I am familiar with him...only a little. His material was a bit highbrow and inflamatory, for the television bunch.
